A very good morning to the Principal,respected teachers and fellow students today i would like to give a speech entitled "Smoking Kills"

If and of you are thinking of taking up smoking.I would strongly advise you against it.I f you need proof as to why smoking is bad idea,just listen to what I have to say.

Firstly,smoking greatly increases your risk for lung cancer and other cancers.I am sure none of you want to be a victim of cancers,spending your time in and out of hospital for treatments.Secondly ,smoking is an addiction.Once you start smoking.You will find it very hard to spot.In addition smoking harm not just the smoker,but also family members,co-workers,and others who breathe the smoker .So,you will be guilty of now corrupting your own health,but the health of others around you.

So,if you have started smoking,why should you quit?Well,quitting smoking makes a difference right away.You can taste and smell food better.Also,quitting smoking saves money.You can use that money wisely on other things.Apart from this,quitting smoking cuts the risk of lung cancer,heart disease,stroke,other lung diseases,and other respiratory illnesses.I am sure we all would like to be free from diseases.
